Search for contacts by name, email, phone, or other criteria. Use to find existing contacts in the CRM before creating a new one, or to look up a contact's ID for other tools. Returns matching contacts with their IDs and core contact fields.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |

| `query` | string | No | Search term (searches name, email, phone) |
| `limit` | number | No | Maximum number of results to return (default 10) |

## Example prompts

- "Search my contacts for anyone named Romero."
- "Find the phone number for my title rep Sarah Kim."

## Safety

**Read-only.** This tool never changes your data — it only looks things up. Safe to run anytime.
